Dr. Brenda Huffman is a board-certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas in 1986. After spending all of her formative years in Texas, she managed to broaden her experiences when she moved to Denver to do her Pediatric Residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She has practiced general pediatrics in Wyoming, Alaska, and Hawaii in addition to Durango where she has lived since 2001. Dr. Huffman has a special interest in newborn and early childhood pediatrics. Brenda is married and has a son who was born in 1995. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially active outdoor sports such as skiing, backpacking, and biking.
Dr. Huffman has partially retired, but continues to come to clinic to help us see patients from time to time.
