Aimee Jacoby is a board certified Physician Assistant who has been caring for kids in the PPSW community since 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University, and completed additional course work at Western State College while working as an EMT-I on an ambulance service in Gunnison, Colorado. She received her Physician Assistant degree from the University of Colorado's Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program and was a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship for Rural Medicine.
Aimee is interested in preventative health supervision, acute care, and the mental/emotional well being of all ages of children. She has a strong interest in rural, community-based health systems and increasing access to medical care. Aimee feels fortunate to live in Durango and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, and photography.
